Senior Pastor - Jason Ramsey
Pastor Jason came to Susquehanna in 2019. He previously served as the pastor at First Baptist Church of Liberal Kansas.
Jason has spent nearly 30 years pastoring in Kansas and Missouri. Being the son of a Baptist pastor, he was raised serving the church. God saved him at a young age and he has been on a blessed journey with Christ ever since.
Jason is the founder of the Family Missions Network, co-founded and directed Conquest Camps, Served on the KNCSB Youth Evangelism Staff, and served in many roles on the Executive and Administrative Teams of the local Baptist Association and State Convention.
Jason earned his BS in Religious Education from Southwest Baptist University and attended Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Jason is married to Lori (Bryant) his high school sweetheart from Shawnee Mission North. They have been blessed with 4 children and 3 grandchildren.
Along with the Great Commission and the Great Commandment, a favorite scripture is 2 Timothy 4:2 “Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; rebuke, correct, and encourage with great patience and teaching.” Jason is passionate about the expository preaching of God’s inerrant and inspired Word, and discipling the people God places around him. His personal statement of faith aligns with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
